Our swimming raft is fun for relaxing, hanging out, suntanning and diving.  Sand Lake offers a shallow sandy beach weed free and rock free. Try out the horse shoe pitch or just play ball in the front garden.

Parents and friends can relax on the beach, sit in the shade or put their chairs in the water while watching their kids.

Bounce all day on our Water Trampoline

A Beach Resort that offers a water trampoline with a launch that is a lot of fun for the kids. Parents sometimes like to try it out until they realize they are just too old to bounce around.

While the kids can have lots of fun we still offer many things for parents and couples.  We offer onsite massage therapy, wood fireplaces, large relaxing decks, sauna and a gazebo area for quiet time.

Sand Lake also offers a Tree Fort that is accessible for even very young kids to enjoy. Climb up, draw pictures, look out the windows and play all day.

Danette and Steve has also provided a large land slide and small slide for all ages, two baby swings and three older kids swings.  Enjoying the little climbing playground wall or the hanging bars.

Practice your diving all day long

Sand Lake Cottages & Inn offers 4 Cottages and 4 Chalets.  Five places have lake views and all places have extremely large decks with patio furniture and a propane barbecue.  All Cottages are equipped with kitchens, 3 or 4 piece washrooms, living rooms with television, satellite, over 100 movies, dvd players and wireless internet is offered for a nominal fee for your weekly use.  There are fire pits on the property to enjoy an evening campfire and a beautiful sunset.  The resort also offers 4 private hot tubs if you are 4 or less in your group size.  All hot tubs are meant for 2 people per hot tub.   Visit Sand Lake near Kearney, Ontario.  A Cottage Resort located near three entrances into Algonquin Provincial Park in the Almaguin Highlands.

It is May now and summer is just around the corner.  It is hard to decide where to go and you want to make sure you get the best value for your money. 
Sand Lake Cottages has been in business for over 11 years now and before that date it had another owner under a different name for 10 years.  Sand Lake alone is known for its amazing beaches and sunsets.  The lake has bass and lake trout and the Magnetawan River runs through the lake.  The Magnetawan also runs into Algonquin Provincial Park that is located about 30 minutes from our Cottage Resort.

Sand Lake Cottages is mainly known for clean, well maintained and spacious cottages.  Over the years Sand Lake has added a playground, tree fort for kids, pedal boats, canoes, aluminum row fishing boat, water trampoline, floating dock, sitting area with sunshade for morning coffee, tea, Toronto Star located just a 3 minute walk away , gardens for pretty pictures, large cottage decks, patio table and chairs, satellite TV, VCR with loads of complimentary movies and DVD players. 
Five of our Seven Cottages have an amazing view of the lake and the other two Cottages are just steps away from the beach.  All Cottages are located very close to the beach so you never need to pack a beach bag and walk because the beach is right there.
