It is May now and summer is just around the corner. It is hard to decide where to go and you want to make sure you get the best value for your money.
Sand Lake Cottages has been in business for over 11 years now and before that date it had another owner under a different name for 10 years. Sand Lake alone is known for its amazing beaches and sunsets. The lake has bass and lake trout and the Magnetawan River runs through the lake. The Magnetawan also runs into Algonquin Provincial Park that is located about 30 minutes from our Cottage Resort.

Sand Lake Cottages is mainly known for clean, well maintained and spacious cottages. Over the years Sand Lake has added a playground, tree fort for kids, pedal boats, canoes, aluminum row fishing boat, water trampoline, floating dock, sitting area with sunshade for morning coffee, tea, Toronto Star located just a 3 minute walk away , gardens for pretty pictures, large cottage decks, patio table and chairs, satellite TV, VCR with loads of complimentary movies and DVD players.
Five of our Seven Cottages have an amazing view of the lake and the other two Cottages are just steps away from the beach. All Cottages are located very close to the beach so you never need to pack a beach bag and walk because the beach is right there.

We also offer A Romantic Getaway Package with loads of privacy with spectacular lake views. This place has a hot tub in a cedar room that overlooks the lake and a large wood fireplace. Large enclosed cozy deck where you can enjoy a glass of wine in a totally privacy setting and a large kitchen and dining room with upgrades like a dishwasher and ceramic stove. Take that special someone away to enjoy our large Chalet 4C for two with high pine ceilings for a full summer week at just $975/week + hst.
